The West Browncastle Wind Farm is located in Sandford /Upper Avondale community council areain South Lanarkshire, about 9km west of Strathaven.
West Browncastle consists of 12 X 2.5MW Nordex N100 Gamma Wind Turbines and are up to 130m high from the base to the highest point of the blade, the Wind Farm was commissioned in Augusr 2014.
